
Myesha Mickens is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with persons aged 16 to 40 who experience anxiety, depression, family issues, and stressors from life changes. She is trained in the NAVIGATE model, which is specific to serving individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Myesha strives to normalize mental health treatment through advocacy and by creating a therapeutic environment where clients can express their emotions, explore their thoughts, and practice resilience.
Myesha earned her bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Adolescence Studies from Winthrop University in 2017 and her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbia International University in 2021. Myesha is a National Certified Counselor and a member of American Counseling Association. Outside of work, Myesha enjoys traveling, sharing delicious meals, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing by the water.
Myesha provides in-person counseling sessions from her office in Columbia, SC. She also provides virtual counseling services to persons living in South Carolina.
